SAUSAGE - CHEESE GRITS

1 cup instant grips
1 jar (6-oz) garlic cheese
1 lb bulk hot sausage
2 ea large eggs, beaten
3 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1 stick butter

In a skillet cook sausage until browned. Drain and set aside. Prepare grits according to package directions. Add butter and cheese to grits. Place eggs in a measuring cup; add enough milk to make 1 cup. Add milk/eggs to grits. Crumble sausage into grits. In a 2-quart casserole spoon in grits, stir to mix well. Cover; bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Yield: 6 to 8 servings
